Centella asiatica
Centella asiatica is a perennial and a lying down herb. It is also known as a "gotu kola". It has fan-shaped green leaves that are harvested and used for various purpose specially in medicinal purpose.
This plant is a small prostrated herb .Stem is glabrous, pink striated and rooting at nodes. Leaves are fleshy, orbicular to reniform and dentate, flowers are pink and fruits are oblong, dull down pericarp hard and woody white.
Habitat
This herb is mainly native to China, Japan, India and Indonesia. In Bangladesh this plant is almost found everywhere. Now-a-days people are trying to plant this herb in their home and garden.
